The Sergeant and Shearer stop and walk back to join the conversation.
Shearer interrupts: Women can be priests can’t they?
Rob: Of course, but priests are just people, she was over acting every movement she made, as if she’d just learned to hold her hands together to pray last week and was demonstrating it intentionally. It was all a little too fresh looking. Conscious and forced.
Davis: Well, she was creepy, the bald head made it even more weird, and the whole Locusts as God’s will sentence… Seems a bit 12th century doesn’t it?
Rob: Exactly. If anything, she is only a minor player in a cult or weird sect that probably only popped up recently.
