away a few inches but then corrects himself. For the first time in a long time he can see her face. She leans in to kiss him but instead pauses and whispers to him: Wake up!

Steve: What?

She grabs him by his shoulders and he can see that her eyes are glowing a deep green. She looks angry and shakes him while screaming: WAKE UP!

Steve opens his eyes again and quickly climbs to his feet, but collapses onto his hands and knees as he coughs up a mouthful of blood. His entire body is surging with pain and he quickly realises he is no longer dreaming, nor is he wearing the night vision goggles. In a panicked blindness he begins to slide his arm around in the mud to find them fumbles past the cold limbs of the dead drones around him.
