They are spread out at about five meters apart but very obviously on watch duty and it looks as if somebody has tried to camouflage them by attaching leaves and branches to their clothing.

But it looks like something from a movie or a cartoon more than what a professional soldier would have. The shape of their body and the movement as they breathe is too obvious to disguise. Dylan’s excitement grows as he watches Steve circle the drones to the rear, making his way through the trees like a lion stalking grazing animals.

Then one by one he silently dispatches them.

The last drone saw him approach, but it was too late. His breath was taken from him before he could signal anyone with a scream.
