He’d named it Belle because, for a machine, it almost seemed to have a certain elegance about it. Way more advanced than any other types of robotics he’d seen while in the army. The agency had some nice toys too but nothing like this.

They were mostly tests designed to enhance the strength of a soldier to carry gear over long distances or replace a lost limb and so on. He’d bought some of that kind of tech on the black market to tinker about with, even wore it a few times as prep for a heavy injury, but again, nothing was ever on this level before. It was truly space age looking. Sleek and well balanced. Why the agency had asked him to babysit it was still a mystery. He’d left it along until now but with the world at an end he was feeling like he could play around a little.
