response and places the bag and large water bottle down onto the road. They watch in disbelief as he cautiously walks down the street towards what remains of a large group of bodies. The smell from the blood soaked pile of rags and bones is sickening to him as he approaches and he heaves as he gets closer. The cloud of flies that rises up from the rotting meat catches him by surprise and he begins to question what he is doing. But he presses on.

The others on the roof look on in disgust as he wades into the mess, choosing his footsteps carefully by placing them in whatever gaps allowed him to stand on the tarmac. He reaches down into the torn clothing and pulls out a long object. Then quickly runs back towards the bag of food and scales the ladder.
