Another unexpected sound sends shivers down his spine. His shoulders contracting up around his neck as the bodies are dragged off the main street and into the shadows. Steve knows that the sight of them would be too much to bear for the rest of the group, especially if another swarm came along and made them a meal in front of their former friends. Another moment passes and a hand rests on Moe’s shoulder.

Steve: It’s done.

Moe keeps his face pointed towards the wall and his voice crackles the words: Thank you.
