It’s not happening quickly enough however and he looks at Moe shaking his head, signalling that this was not going to end well. They are now so far away in fact that he decides to stop. Estimating that by the time he gets there the flood will be upon them. This dream could only go one way after all. If he is not meant to make it then it doesn’t matter how fast he runs, the distance was always going to be insurmountable.
