He places the backpack down in front of his position on the roof and uses it to balance the rifle. Overlooking the park form here still felt risky, regardless of the distance, as he had believed himself to be safe on the shopping centre roof also. Hiding behind the backpack at least made him at least feel a little less exposed.

He scans the area again looking for the alpha but there was no sign of him. Instead two of Lieutenants, the armoured drones, stand either side of each of the screens. Continuing the mission he screws the aerial into the concrete rooftop and runs a cable towards the edge of the roof where he’ll position the first camera.
