Our lives are now depending on the decisions and actions of people we have never met, with perspectives on life that are not our own.

There is a bigger picture here, I don’t want to call it fate, I prefer to think of it in terms of consequences. But we didn’t control the chess board, we are just pawns.

The best thing we can do now is figure out how to survive. We’ve got walls and a way to defend them, it’s a better hand than most were dealt in life.

Let’s keep our chin’s up and hope that whoever lands here next is a little more human than the current band of savages.
