Suddenly he is thrown to the ground by a heavy impact to his shoulder and instinctively pulls his handgun from his belt aiming up in the direction where he expects his attacker to stand. He fires repeatedly at the silhouette now moving towards him to finish the job. Multiple rounds make impact on the body of the drone but ricochet off with a spark of light before he aims towards the drones face and drops him with a better placed shot.

The single lieutenant is quickly replaced by four more as he slumps onto the thick stony gravel lining the track. They stand there for a second, blind in the deep shadows and Steve quickly reloads to aim at the next drone. The unlucky next victim had just activated a flashlight to see what was going on, marking himself for death, and the light drops to the ground along with his metal frame.
