This way in was dangerous, the chances that Mark planted drones in the treeline were high. It’s what any intelligent human would do. But it was again, the best worst option he had, and also the shortest route to the hotel. Besides, if there were a few drones posted there it suggested that the place was being guarded carefully and this would tell him for sure that Mark was inside.
The lights on the 6th and 7th floors suggested it also. As did the well-lit and well-guarded lobby. That would be tough to get through if he went in head first.
