the tracks, this would allow them to move to other parts of the city easily.

There is a station to the south, named Pearce Street Station which they’ve barricaded from street level. It was seen as a risk to allow such an approach to remain unsecured so they’ve set explosives on the train line that ran over the road and past the college. Further along the tracks to the north, and just before the river that ran through the heart of the city, sat another station - Tara Street. This one was smaller and easier to barricade, the security gates in place due to the less than salubrious nature of the area became a vital asset to keep out the hordes roaming the streets outside. Further along the tracks was Connolly Station, a main hub on the train network, as yet unsecured, hence the explosives on the bridge over the river.
