He wanted to scream at them. Slap them in the face and tell them to wake up and look around. But he knew what he needed to do. People were either motivated by incentive to gain, or fear of loss for the most part. A combination of both usually worked best and they clearly believed this town had something of value. Something that could help them survive another day. He’d need to convince them otherwise.

He slides over the top of the wall and drops down to the street and walks out into the centre of the road in full view of the car. Then one by one takes aim and neutralises half of the remaining drones to their rear.
