The difference between chimp and human is probably less than the difference between them and the drones. I should find them though. See what they know. Before they get themselves killed.

The drones below look like trained soldiers from here. But not the way he knew soldiers, just the ones you see in a movie that don’t think, just follow orders blindly. Real soldiers were never like that in his experience.

It reminds him of photos he saw of the old North Korean troop formations. Soldiers would stand there for hours or even days, terrified to move rather than because they were disciplined. Even when a fellow soldier dropped dead right next to a man they wouldn’t move, just carry on staring blankly forward and make sure their own neck wasn’t on the line.
