Having discovered this van was packed with a supply of freshly baked bread they’d emptied it out quickly and were now using the van as part of a barricade. At the rear of the coach there was a gap it would fit nicely into, its heavy frame impossible to move once it was wedged in tightly.

With this street sealed they could operate more freely to seal off the other approaches towards the shopping centre. Like a damn in a river the flood would be contained, if even for a short time so they could get food and water stocked up.
