Having woken up from what felt like a drug induced haze and found himself surrounded by death and destruction, he climbed to the relative safety of a convenience store rooftop. It was there he began his journey back to sanity. If that’s what this is.

The now ransacked town surrounding him has been torn apart by an infection which turned the once peaceful inhabitants into a crazed blood thirsty mob. Each of them carrying wounds similar to his own.

Bite marks. Entry points for whatever nefarious entity now controlling them. He couldn’t remember when it happened, but he could remember how it felt. The teeth breaking through his skin and sinking into his flesh. Then the darkness. The fear. He scans forward to another entry:
