He swings against the wall as Mark runs to where he stood and attempts to grab him. His arms flailing in a flurry of madness and squealing like a pig through gritted teeth

Steve is just out of reach though and lowers himself down to the street quickly. Then looks back up at Mark who stares down at him. His eyes filled with rage. Steve smiles to himself: I’ll leave you up there so you don’t annoy any of the other drones. I wouldn’t inflict you on them. They have enough misery in their lives.

Retrieving his rifle he turns one last time to look back at Mark. He could finish him off easily. One shot. Easy. But he decides not to. This would be his penalty for all of the misery he caused when the world was still relatively normal.
