entire body. It felt like battery acid in his veins, and he was starting to understand why they looked so enraged. They were in absolute agony! Each of them in their own nightmare - Each of them in hell.

The pain and sound of a white noise ringing in his ears causes his head to ache, all combining to bring him close to his pain threshold.

He snaps back to reality as the last of the crowd passes by and closes his eyes for a moment to calm his mind again. His heart still pounds in his chest and the taste of stomach acid fills his throat.
