He then turns to Steve who is smiling at Brian knowingly, maybe now somebody would understand his own madness. Tommy gives him a nod - an assumption that he would be leaving with them – and walks Brian to the side of the roof. The exhausted old man lies down onto his stomach to slide off and down to the road. The lack of movement by Steve has been noticed though and they look back to him. Tommy rolls his eyes that he needs to sell the idea of escape to anyone at this stage.

He calls out to him: STEVE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? A WRITTEN INVITATION? COME ON, WE HAVE TO GO!

Steve holds his hand up signalling that he is ok. That they should go on ahead of him. Then waves, as if waving friends on at the end of a night to say you’d make your own way
