Boys especially are trained from a very early age to not express emotion. “Boys don’t cry” the mantra of almost every parent frustrated by, or themselves upset by their sons’ tears. And don’t be aggressive! Ever!
This is a failure of understanding in my opinion. People have clearly confused aggression with rage. Aggression is a perfectly useful tool once it’s channelled and controlled. The driving force that creates and builds, not destroys for destructions sake. To drive forward and conquer. To win!
