dictatorship over yourself. You label your feelings and natural instincts as either good or evil or clean or filthy and then wonder, as you walk around with this ridiculous emotional contradiction, why your life is filled with pain, stress and misery. Or why society has violent criminals and sexual predators, war junkies and manic depression.

We unconsciously inflict an emotional prison sentence on ourselves and then, when we finally realise that the symptoms are not natural, look to blame an external adversary. We blame the government or the church, religion or capitalism. The 1%. Maybe they are to blame though? Aren’t they supposed to protect the citizens from harm? Aren’t they supposed to provide the education needed to prevent this level of decay?
