Suddenly he is awake again. The bunker still lit by the dimmed lights of the lamps in the ceiling and the monitors at the other end of the room.

So the infection, came to him here, at his home. There was a village a few miles down from his house in the other direction to the town. It was closer but more of a sleepy corner of the world with rich farmers and retired folk.
