It would be easy to label me back then as a drug addict but my use of chemicals was more functional. A way to enhance my ability to heal or vision or strength to achieve a certain goal, a way to keep the focus on something.
I used them to be more “in” the environment and not somewhere else… dreaming of the past… distracted. I wanted to enhance the experience and block out my
